Its my love of the carniceria store paintings. I've always had a fascination with them ever since I was a little kid. Seeing these somewhat surreal and fanciful paintings depicting the foods that I would be eating later that day. Taco stands, bars and restaurants will make their way on this site as well. This is my tribute to those paintings and the artists that made them. Bon apetit!

OOOOOOOOH i really like the one of the saint!!!

My favorite pic by far is the old guy that didn't get out of the way when you were taking the picture. I think I'll name him Humberto. Humberto doesn't move for no one, and he loves his Orange Bang. Next time someone takes Humberto's picture will be the last time. You are lucky he let you off with a warning.
yeah the old man is hot. i like how he's so poor he can't afford a real taco so he decided to sit in front of the painted one. that's a hot slut if i ever saw one.
ps- i heard the story of how humberto wouldnt move for you and i almost peed my pants laughing. seriously, old people rule because they are so fucking evil.
Great site! Have you seen the artwork on the walls of Chabelita? It's on Western Ave., just north of the 10 Fwy. Brilliant!
