Its my love of the carniceria store paintings. I've always had a fascination with them ever since I was a little kid. Seeing these somewhat surreal and fanciful paintings depicting the foods that I would be eating later that day. Taco stands, bars and restaurants will make their way on this site as well. This is my tribute to those paintings and the artists that made them. Bon apetit!

Wow! Thanks Arthur. I tend to think that the art speaks for itself. But there is a looong story behind The Three Little Pigs painting...hehehe.
HA! I've been seeing that for years!
I keep thinking I need to try to get one of their t-shirts....
i used to live next to the culver city meat packing company. Its right off the robertson exit on the 10 freeway heading east. I'd walk by there on my way to the local bar or grocery store. It would smell like horrid rotting rat shit all the time. I'd have to stop myself from actually vomiting next to the ready to be delivered meat. I just don't think quality beef should come from Culver City. Thanks for making me nostalgic.
That's funny! Here's a link to a funny Thai restaurant:
