Hey everybody! A bit of a departure today...sorta. I was lucky enough to be part of an awesome art group show that was based redoing classic Disney characters which was surprisingly enough put together by Disney and Gallery 1988 in Hollywood. The show that will be closing this Friday, March 10th so if you have the time and live in L.A. get down there! Truely amazing artwork which I was very happy to be a part of, and it actually sold!
Hope you all can make it!

Hi Tony,

Unfortunately I didn't make it to the gallery, but thanks for uploading a large scan of this awesome painting. You should do a whole series of "mural-inspired" paintings!

The wolf's left hand is perfect!

When I look at this painting, my eye always keeps coming back to that left hand. It's just so round and cartoony and in an interesting hanging pose -it's exactly how it should look, and is therefore perfect!

The wolf in general reminds me of the wolf Jim Tyer drew in that Mighty Mouse cartoon "Mother Goose's Birthday Party." Have you seen that one? Rubbery cartoon fun.

Yeah Tony, Great work! Such a great idea for the murals. I always loved it when you see the pig frying up bacon or the cow chopping meat! EWWwww...hahaaa..
